“I had a lot of fun! If you like ghost stories this is the place to be! I skated three times a day and I also had dry land training. At supper they have ice cream! The staff is very kind. They also were pros! There were only three girls there and I was one of them. It was great! More girls should go! I want to go again next year!” ~HALEY SCHOMMER~

“Hockey and Sons/Daughters was truly a great experience. The coaching staff and counselors were exceptional. Their hockey knowledge and ability to teach with humor and enthusiasm kept the kids interested and focused. The girls also liked the special attention they received form the coaches and staff. Education, competition, and recreation along with a great hockey atmosphere make the camp unique.
I especially liked the night games and competitions with the Dads during the ice sessions (even though my body sometimes didn’t). It was fun to compete and socialize with other hockey Dads from other parts of the country. Hopefully we’ll be back next year to continue our hockey experience. I encourage everyone to attend, whatever skill level.” ~JOHN SCHOMMER~

“The camp was a lot of fun. It was well organized and the staff was top notch. The practices focused on fundamentals but were also fun. It was Hannah’s first time playing organized hockey and it won’t be her last. My daughter told me a week after we got back home from the Hockey and Sons/daughters Camp that she wanted to go back. I said, “Next year?” and she said, “No this year.” I had to explain to her that they weren’t having another camp until next year.” ~TODD SCHOMMER~

"I never imagined the boost in self-confidence my daughter and son would have after attending Hockey and Sons in 2005. My hopes were to have them come away with a greater knowledge of the game and a push in the right direction, but it was much more than that. the quality time spent with my kids was one to remember forever. It game us a chance to hang out and have a lot of fun focusing on a sport we all love.
My daughter was a second year skater at the time and skated on the third and fourth lines. This season she has been skating on the first and second lines. She told me that the turning point was the Hockey and Sons camp." "Dad, it gave me confidence in myself and a new desire to play."
I must say that both my kids and I have a greater understanding, improved ability and a new passion for the game. It was much more than I expected."
"Thanks to Troy Ward and all of his staff. These guys are first class!" - MICHAEL OHREN

"My name is Tianna. I went to Hockey and Sons and found it to be a great experience. It was so much fun. I learned so much working with the coaches. They are GREAT!
I think Hockey and Daughters is an awesome idea. It will give girls the same experience that I had, but just having girls will be great. So please consider bringing your daughter to this wonderful camp, Hockey and Daughters." -TIANNA OHREN |
